Yusuke Urameshi, Yu Yu Hakusho's Spirit Detective of the Human World. The afterlife is a funny place. Everyone has different thoughts and beliefs on how it looks like. One thing's for sure, all souls go there, and they all aren't good. But they all aren't bad, so you gotta look at the bright side and pray that someone comes to extinguish your demons, so who will it be? The Soul Reaper, will he cleave another path to victory, or will the Spirit Detective blast a hole in his shell once and for all? At the end of the day? Who's gonna save your soul? Before We Begin...Now I understand that one of the bigger issues with YYH is the manga and anime canons being seperate. Just for this blog, we'll examine both canons. With Bleach, we'll be using the simple manga and anim e, as well as some movies that came out. It's really simple. Note that this blog is much more low effort than things like Ben VS Jaden lmao. We'll also be using the G1 Blog's Ichigo VS Naruto, Aizen VS Madara, and Sasuke VS Hiei, and G3's Kyo VS Yusuke, as well as both wikis (images especially from the YYH wiki), and VSBattles. We also referred to this Wordpress for some feats too, on both series. Should I even say it? MAJOR SPOILERS FOR BOTH BLEACH AND YU YU HAKUSHO!!!!!... BackgroundIchigo
For as long as he remembered, Ichigo Kurosaki could always see ghosts. They were just as real as the people surrounding him, and he had that gift to interact with them. After his mother had mysteriously died, Ichigo was raised with two sisters and the most immature father ever. However, he still continued to live in his peaceful town, and his family even had a clinic! He made some... allies (he has a brash personality) and still continued everyday life, interacting with ghosts too and stuff. However, this would all change when two balances came into his life: Hollows and Soul Reapers. A Hollow arrived and began to wreak havoc chasing after a soul he encountered, but as he was running away, a mysterious black-haired woman appeared and obliterated it, purifying the soul and moving away, in search of a high energy reading. Unbeknowest to her, he could see her, and was trying to talk to her. Well she kinda walked away. Later that night, same woman broke into his house, thinking she was invisible, because she tracked a strong spiritual presence. Of course, Ichigo kicked her and demanded to know why she was here (much to here shock), and she introduced herself as Rukia Kichiki, Shinigami. Same Hollow proceeded to attack the clinic, and for safety of Ichigo's life, she bound him with Kido, only to be flabbergasted as Ichigo broke out, realizing his identity as the spiritual presence she was searching for earlier. She took a hit that critically weakened her, and Ichigo made a choice: to gain her Shinigami powers and operate as a substitute Shinigami while she recovered... or so she thought because he took all of her powers by accident, but hey, he kicked that Hollow's ass. After that, Ichigo's life was no longer the same. He became a Soul Reaper, hunting down hollows and shit. However, things wouldn't last long before Soul Society came in to execute Rukia! So obviously he pulled up and saved her like a badass. Too bad Sosuke Aizen just happened to execute his master plan, and sought to do some villain shit. So Ichigo formed up, and after growing stronger, fighting members of the Espada, he finally reached Aizen, and with one final Getsuga, put him down and saved the world, losing his powers for the greater good... ...or so we thought, because Yhwach guy decided to merge some universes, and Ichigo's powers actually recovered so he's back in the game! After some more fighting and delayed anime adaptations, Ichigo realized the truth about Zangetsu, and chose to accept it, gaining the power of the "Horn of Salvation". And thanks to some help from Aizen, they screwed over the Almighty Yhwach once and for all, finally marking the end of his journeys. Ichigo and his friends grew up, and he married Orihime Yusuke
Yusuke wasn't your idol teenager: he was a delinquent, always skipping school, fighting, and doing drugs or something. He's been like that for a long time, pretty outgoing yet dangerous. This life would continue; his parents being disappointed in him, well to be honest he should be disappointed in them, living in a neglectful environment and all, fighting Kuwabara on a daily basis (and winning), but hey, it's not like life sucked. Despite his brashness and boldness, one of his childhood friends, Keiko, would tell you he was a pretty nice guy. She isn't wrong. Yusuke is pretty kind and protective once you get to know him, although rather dense (mf casually asked Keiko "when'd you get a nice ass?" no I'm not lying). He just was unlucky to meet so many cruel people at a young age, maturing into a feared warrior among his school students, but always retained that kind personality, like when he entertained a boy with funny faces and same boy walks on to the street and is that a car going 50 straight at hi- SHIT WATCH OUT! At 14 years old, Yusuke Urameshi had departed this world, saving a child from being run over. This even shocked the afterlife, who really weren't expecting him (The child would've survived anyways lol), so they gave him another chance at life; and he refuses... until he sees the distraught people at his funeral and decides maybe he should go back after all! After performing a ritual that also involved a kiss from Keiko (awww.), Yusuke came back! But that's not all. Since he tangled with death and came back, he's now got some cool powers! And thus, Yusuke became the Spirit Detective of Earth. Now with friends Keiko, Botan, Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei (aka YYH Sasuke) Yusuke went on to become the coolest Spirit Detective, using his signature Spirit Gun to light up his path to the future. Fighting demons are no joke, but he and his friends always pull through, but it would all come to climax when Shinobi Sensui decided to come in, and he was tough, being a S Class in terms of power! And for the second time, Yusuke fell from the world of the living. However, Yusuke's ancestral roots had the power of the Almighty Mazoku, and upon his resurrection, got some sick redesigns and boosted him to S tier power, defeating Sensui, until Raizen, his descendent, kinda possesses his body and kinda kills him, but no biggie! Eventually, Yusuke returned to the demon world one more time, for 3 years, proposing to Keiko and promising his return. After being trained by Raizen, who eventually dies, and fought Yomi, one of the contestants over who rules the demon world. He then left after those 3 years were up, and returned... but this wouldn't last long. It was now All or Nothing. His final case, Yusuke had to fight some crazy religious people who wanted to blow up the Earth with a laser because demons were in their world, so Yusuke came back to kick ass one final time, and reached the base where the laser was, but was met with 3 buttons, to click the wrong one, and doom everyone by killing everyone's souls or blowing up the planet. Yusuke hesitated, but clicked the blue one. He was correct, and finally saved the Earth. Throughout his journeys, Yusuke struggled to find his purpose for fighting, but now it was clear; not just to find his own identity, but he cared for the sake of his own friends, and continued to push for the future. Reuniting with Keiko on a beach, he reveals he chose the blue button because it was her favorite color (aww.), and the two make up. This concludes the story that we know of Yusuke Urameshi, but hey, he signed up for a new demon tournament after some years, so don't worry, kids. If there's a demon hunting any of you, just dial the Spirit Detective, and tell him to send to send em back to hell. Experience and SkillIchigo In his long years of being a Substitute Shinigami, Ichigo's gotten pretty handy with his Zanpakuto, Zangetsu, and has become a REALLY cool swordsman. But let's not talk about his potential. One of his greatest examples is that while it can take masters years to learn Bankai, he managed in a measly 2 days, which is severely faster than even professionals. He also learned and became a master at Zanjutsu despite only training for 10 days. He even stalemated Kenpachi once, and that guy also gave Unohana a hard time as a fucking child. Unohana literally has mastered EIGHT THOUSAND SWORD STYLES. Literally, this man doesn't even manage the experience spectrum in comparision, but he can still fight on par with them. Of course, his battle IQ is... actually pretty underrated. Sure, you might think he's just "GeTSugA TenSHO!!1!1" but he's been smart with it, fooling Uryu by suspending his sword in the air and dismantled Gin Ichimaru's tactics against him in record time. So yeah, he's actually pretty much underestimated. Hell, that was even a thing against Yhwach, Ichigo was secretly analyzing Almighty while Yhwach was holding back because he underestimated his Hollow powers. I guess Ichigo is pretty skilled after all. You know what, if you want more info, just read his combat intelligence in full for yourself. Yusuke Yusuke's a pretty good spirit detective, but also a really good fighter. Just to kick things off, and has hunted many demons to the point where he can easily recognize one. He's also a really good fighter with his own fists. Before he became a Spirit Detective, he was brawling a lot of the time with Kuwabara and won a lot of those as time went on, and he's able to think plans in battle on the fly. Now that he's a Spirit Detective, his style has changed. He's a pretty instinctive fistfighter, capable of predicting and countering his opponent's attacks by analyzing them, but he's also very aggressive, as shown when he endangered Kuwabara when shooting at Sensui. One of his greater examples of his smarts in fights were against Gouki, where he baited him into opening his mouth so he could put a branch inside, jamming it before firing a Spirit Gun into his mouth, since Gouki's skin was normally incredibly tough. He's fought against powerful S-Class demons like Sensui, and has fought on par with the 70 year old Toguros, whole tournament battle royales, and Suzaki, a 400 year old incredible martial artist, so even if he appears brash and overconfident, he has a bunch of tricks up his sleeve, and you'll probably never see them coming. Equipment/UtilityIchigoZangetsu (See Powers/Forms).jpeg) Okay, basically Ichigo's sword. That's it. Just kidding, pal, it's way more complicated than just a stupid sword. It's Ichigo's main weapon and tool, gained due to his spiritual powers being utilized as a Substitute Shinigami. It first starts out as a Asauchi, the basic form that all Soul Reapers have, being a large sword than most, but Ichigo learned how to use Shikai and Bankai, the two more powerful forms and applications of his Zanpakuto. However, as revealed in TBYW, those were his "false" Shikai and Bankai. He then proceeded to receive his true Shikai and Bankais, fully honing his true potential. His Zanpakuto also has a name, associated with a spirit, Zangetsu. Zangetsu was also not only the Zanpakuto's spirit, but the manifestation of Ichigo's secret Hollow Powers that he has. This enabled him to use the Hollow Mask to boost his power. Zangetsu has also trained Ichigo in a mental-like world, and allowed him to become stronger over time. Ichigo's Zanpakuto has been noted to be quite large in size compared to typical Asauchis, although people like Kenpachi swing around crazy shit too so it's not the biggest. Ichigo has also shown the ability to keep his Zanpakuto floating in midair to trick opponents. Substitute Shinigami Badge The Badge Substitute Shinigamis have. It's used to verify their identity as a Substitute and also makes a alarm sound heard only to it's owner when Hollows are nearby, and can even shove souls out of your body. Charm Handed to him by his father, Isshin, this protective Kido-based charm will activate when a hostile force attacks the user, forming a barrier to protect it, as shown when Kon (In Ichigo's body) fought Grand Fisher.  The charm in use Ichigo himself doesn't realize this charm's power, though. YusukeDemon Compass Yusuke has a demon compass. It allows Yusuke to track down demons and what direction they're in, and that yellow bar on the bottom measures demon energy. The larger it is, the more people there are or the more powerful the demon it's targeting is. Sufficient Energy has been shown to overload it, as shown with Rando. Psychic Spyglass Part of Yusuke's detective kit, this is basically a portable X-ray. It allows Yusuke to see through walls and... clothing, revealing any hidden objects, and it MIGHT allow him to see in the dark idk. Communication Mirror Allows the person to video call another Mirror user. That's it. Like, what else do you expect it to do, nuke the area? PowersIchigoSpiritual AwarenessOne of Ichigo's most prominent abilities, even since before he was a Soul Reaper, was his gifted talent to see and interact with ghosts, including Hollows. Not only could he see ghosts, he can interact with them even in human form (such as kicking Rukia) although I suppose a lot of people might as well. As a Soul Reaper, Ichigo's senses became more keen. Shinigami can detect spiritual presences, and he can detect killing intent and emotion, or just sense their presence through... echolocation, nah just sound. Reiryoku Bleach's primary power system. Reiryoku is basically the Bleach chakra/ki system, tied to your willpower and overall spiritual life energy yada yada. Ichigo's own is vast enough that it could confuse Rukia's own senses. Reiatsu is the energy that takes form when someone releases their Reiryoku, causing immense pressure and a crushing feeling depending on how strong you are. Take Aizen's, who's was potent enough to practically exert enough pressure to just wipe you from existence. Reikaku is another thing related to Reiatsu. It's like a form of sensing, as it allows people to pick up on Reiatsu, and it's useful enough that people use their eyes and Reikaku at the same time to "see". These also grant:
Zanpakuto/Sword Skills
Sonido/Flash Step Also called Flash Step, all you really gotta do is move REALLY FAST to the point where you leave afterimages to make it look like you're outright teleporting. Shunpo is the Soul Reaper counterpart to Sonido, the Arrancar's flashstep. Getsuga Tensho Ichigo's signature move, it involves him generating immense energy into his blade, and it can be released as a air slash/energy wave or he can imbue it into a direct contact hit, supremely increasing a singular sword swing's power. Due to his immense mastery, he can just manipulate the Getsuga freely. Getsuga Jujisho Ditto, but Ichigo creates a cross shaped version using two instead of one Getsuga Tensho, magnifying it's power to far more destructive heights. Mugetsu (via Final Getsuga Tensho).gif) The Final Getsuga Tensho's only move, it releases a MASSIVE energy slash of darkness at the target, eviscerating them completely. However, using this essentially is Ichigo's last time using his powers, as the form in general is sacrificing everything he has and giving up his Soul Reaper powers to finish the job. Gran Ray Cero A technique he may have stolen from Grimmjow. He once imbued this into a Getsuga Tensho to increase it's power even further. A Gran Ray Cero is a upgraded Cero that can be fired off as a big, destructive beam in general, sacrificing a lil bit of blood for it! Blut Vene Essentially a funny Quincy ability. There are two Bluts: one for offense and one for defense. Vene is the defensive one, allowing his to slow or even stop bleeding from severe injuries and help him tank attacks to a much better degree. Flight watch your tone mf Zangetsu and his Bankai allows Ichigo to levitate and FLY!!!! No explanation needed. Though technically it's by manipulating particles to create really invisible platforms but I dunno. wee wee YusukeSpiritual AwarenessAfter his literal death experience, Yusuke magically gained the ability to be able to detect demons even when they were disguised as humans, and he got better at doing this over time while becoming stronger and training harder. Spirit Energy/Reiki In Yu Yu Hakusho, there are four kinds of energy: Spirit, Life, Demon, and Sacred. Let's talk about Spirit Energy, known also as Reiki, first. Reiki is possessed by all human beings, but only few can use it correctly in a masterful way, like Yusuke himself. It's connected to your emotions and will. If you're angry, it surges, just like ki in Dragon Ball. It can be utilized for strengthening yourself and launching cool flashy attacks, and with certain people, it can be used for healing. Life EnergyLife Energy is used as a last resort by fighters, because it's kinda your life force: using it fully will kill you. You can transfer it to others to save them from the brink of death, and using it is practically in short terms the backup energy generator for Spirit Energy if you're depleted. Spirit Gun Yusuke's own signature move: by charging up his spirit energy in his fingertip, he can fire out a gun-like energy beam, or a giant energy ball too. He's gotten a very good mastery at this technique, developing other variations and being able to shoot it up to kilometers away from his current position. Spirit Gun Mega not Yusuke but you get the idea Well, kinda the same thing, but it's more of a massive attack, Yusuke charging a whole lotta power into this one than usual to deal increasingly higher damage than a normal Spirit Gun. Spirit Shotgun pew pew Gathering Spirit Energy into his fist, Yusuke launches out weak but multiple spread out shots of Spirit Energy at preferably a large number of foes in a widespread area. Spirit Punch Yusuke can also amplify his punches and fists by implementing Spirit Energy into them, causing more damage and effectiveness again people up close. Spirit Kick.jpeg) Same thing, but he kicks you instead of just punching you. Spirit Gun BarrageSpirit Gun, but he fires two of them. It doesn't have to be from different angles, the second bullet can also "push" the first bullet, amplifying their power exponentially. Spirit WaveThis is one of Yusuke's more powerful techniques. By concentrating his entire body in a flow of energy, he can shoot Spirit Energy outwards in a massive wave. However, this is especially taxing and draining of his current supply of Spirit Energy, so he better make sure it hits. Demon Energy/Yoki Demon Energy, accessed only by Demons, although Yusuke can use it in his Mazoku form, is well, demon energy no shit. Of course, it's strength varies depending on the user, but is also noted to be more powerful than normal Spirit Energy, since demons > humans. Similar to it's human counterpart, Demon Energy and it's potency is also based on your emotions. When Yusuke was killed, Hiei rose from a rank B to a rank A in power, and the gaps between those two levels are pretty big. Demons can also use this to heal themselves, although many never use it due to their more aggressive nature. Demon Gun.gif) Similar to a normal Spirit Gun, Yusuke instead fires Demon Energy instead of Spirit Energy from his finger. Thanks to Demon Energy's higher natural potency, this does a lot more damage than a base Spirit Gun. Demonic Spirit GunDemonic Spirit Gun, or basically Demon Gun Mega, is the Mega version of Demon Gun, where Yusuke channels more power to unleash a absolutely devastating blast that wipes out anything caught up in the projectile. 'Sacred Energy' (Debatable) The most powerful form of energy there will be in in YYH. Very few have attained this power, and it is attained by awakening your Spirit Energy through a "metamorphosis", not through power, but through immense dedication and training. It is described as "operating on a higher plane". Not literally, of course, but that just shows the powerful nature of the Sacred Energy. It's like becoming enlightened. Yusuke develops a power that "isn't Sacred Energy, but something new altogether." Although the Japanese dub does give a impression that this is Yusuke's "own type" of Sacred Energy, but he does not likely have the full extent of this power regardless. Flight By concentrating his energy, Yusuke can levitate or FLY!!!! No explanation needed. wee wee FormsIchigoFor notice, not all of Ichigo's forms are standard, as he's lost access to most of these forms, but we'll give a rundown of everything and say what he can and can't have. Asauchi At the beginning of the series, upon recieving power from Rukia, Ichigo became a Substitute Shinigami, and this sword came packed along with it. Basically a giant sword. Rukia and Renji have noted this Zanpakuto to be fairly larger than average. However, this is due to uncontrolled spirit power, making the sword weak, and forcing him to progress to Shikai by learning it's true name. Ichigo has absolutely no reason to even use this, like why, so this is Non-Standard Shikai Now this is the poster boy sword you've probably seen on most Ichigo pics. After learning about Zangetsu, Ichigo achieved a form with a sword as big as his body. Gaining a cloth around the handle, Ichigo can use it to swing it around like a flail (Deadly Darts). It can also reflect energy attacks. The bandages can also be manipulated by their size by a simple thought, and Ichigo has used them on rare occasions to dress wounds. After his Fullbring arc, the thing's shape changed, but otherwise it's function was the same. This has been replaced by his true Shikai, so this is Non-Standard. Bankai: Tensa Zangetsu After a pretty cool transformation, Ichigo's sword manifests into a much lighter and thinner daito. It's up to a 10 times power increase from his Shikai, making him much more powerful. The blade was so powerful, Gin felt like his own would break just hitting it, and instead of a cloth, it gains a small chain link at the hilt. It also changes Ichigo's drip. In this form, Ichigo's Getsuga Tensho changes from yellow-ish to black, signifying a much more concentrated power. The Fullbring, just like with his Shikai, changed his Bankai's appearance too, as well as his coat too. Otherwise there's no difference in abilities. This has been replaced by his true Bankai, so this is Non-Standard Hollowfication Since Ichigo has a funny ass birth or something, Ichigo was born with a inner Hollow, known as "White" because he looks like Ichigo but white... like... it was Bleach Anyways, this "Hollow Mask" is gained from his inner Hollow taking over for a lil bit. However, after training with Visored, this is basically him in control utilizing his Hollow strength. There are red stripes on it, first on one side, then they covered his whole mask. It gives him a significant boost to his powers and strengths, especially Getsuga Tensho, even beyond Bankai. His fighting style also becomes more violent, just like White's. He can also regenerate the mask if it's damaged in combat. The "Horn of Salvation Form" is essentially the full Hollow Mask, so this is Non-Standard Vasto Lorde Essentially the Hollow Mask on steroids, this came from a near death experience, causing him to go into a berserk stage. In this form, he gets claws, markings on his body, longer hair, and horns on his new mask. These horns are capable of generating a powerful red Cero blast that can match the likes of Ulquiorra's Cero Oscuras. This is what happens when Ichigo's hollow was basically unrestrained. Ichigo has now already accepted his inner hollow, so this is Non-Standard Dangai This form was achieved after severely intense training in the Dangai, to the point his Zanpakuto handle fused with his hand, as well as changing the crossguard design. The power boost this gives is massive, easily being able to floor Aizen and wipe away mountains by swinging in their general direction. He also has a cool ass look. While the Arm-Zanpakuto fusion cannot work, Ichigo does have the training and powerup still to today, but otherwise eh. Fullbring By recalling his pride as a Substitue Shingami through his badge, Ichigo gained some funny powers. He was able to call in black Reiatsu in the shape of his Bankai, although it was used for mostly self defense. This caused his Shikai and Bankai to change appearance as well. It eventually evolved even further, into a form where Reiatsu swirls around his body and he gets a black blade over his arm. He eventually completes this form, gaining bone-like armor, and being able to fire energy blasts similar to Getsuga Tensho. He can also use the aftermentioned move, just not as powerful as his prime. He also gains a machete-esque blade. Ichigo's Fullbring armor was taken by Ginjo, although the power remains in his Shinigami self. Otherwise, this is Non-Standard True Shikai After breaking his Bankai in battle, Ichigo realizes the nature of his Shikai and Bankai as false, and thus, later, Oetsu reforges this sword, rebuilding completely Ichigo's true potential. In this form, he gains two separate blades for combat, although it has been mentioned he can merge them together into a more powerful blade resembling his older Shikai. All the abilities are the same as before, although he has become more powerful due to attaining his true power. The larger blade represents the "Hollow" Zangetsu, and the smaller the "old man" This Shikai is Ichigo's current, so this is Standard True Bankai: Tensa Zangetsu"Horn of Salvation" After coming to a revelation, Ichigo decides to accept his inner Hollow, calling Zangetsu a part of himself, one and the same. This caused a increase in his power, and this form allows him to control his past Fullbring and Hollow powers in conjunction with his Shinigami abilities. Ichigo gains a horn and black stripes over his left eye down to his neck, and his fit changes, of course. However, Ichigo has now accepted himself, and is in control of who he is. Pairing this final Merged Hollow form with his True Bankai, he became what fans call the "Horn of Salvation" based off a chapter title. It's actually called the Merged Hollow Form but shhh. This also enabled him to use the Gran Ray Cero, combining it with his Getsuga Tensho. He used these powers in his final battle against Yhwach, and managed to cause some visible damage despite Yhwach being empowered by the Soul King, which also lead him to take Ichigo seriously. Technically, the Bankai is separate from this form, but we're just saying. This form/Bankai is Standard, same reasons as true Shikai Final Getsuga Tensho This form involves Ichigo becoming the Getsuga. By doing this, he achieves a form wrapped in bandages and long black hair. In this form, he can use only one move: Mugetsu. After that, say goodbye to his Soul Reaper powers, because it actually puts them all into that attack or something. Why'd he even do this bro. This form is likely Standard, But Ichigo has absolutely no reason to use this because Horn of Salvation exceeds it's power without the drawback. YusukeMazoku.jpeg) Little did Yusuke know, he was coincidentally the descendant of Raizen, one of the most powerful demons back then, a easy S-tier in power. Jeez, why wouldn't he be? After achieving this form, Yusuke got demonic tattoos over his body, and became more fierce. At it's fullest extent, he also gains long white hair. In this form, he awakens his Demon Energy, and gains access to the Demon Gun and Punch. Basically, there's something called "Atavism of the Mazoku" in which all descendants have the gene, but only those strong enough will actually get this true power. This caused his demon heritage to "accept" him after his death against Sensui and bring him back to life. (note that he can't resurrect himself like that anymore.) This form came to Yusuke because Raizen had actually possessed his body, but against Yomi, Yusuke proceeded to utilize this form to his own benefit, because Raizen's spirit gave Yusuke a good old great great great great great (+39) grandfather talk and boosted his fighting spirit, reminding him what he fights for. This form easily boosts Yusuke to the strongest S-Class tier in power, on par with people like Sensui, hell, even beyond Sensui. It is widely considered the peak of his power. ResistancesIchigo

He's also pretty merciful despite his violent fighting style and his fighting spirit can also limit his powers, so if it's at a low he probably won't be at a good position. Plus, Final Getsuga Tensho just wipes his powers upon using Mugetsu, so that's only a powerful self destruct last resort thing. Oh yeah guess what? He was reckless again and used that on Aizen only for him to regenerate. Urahara my GOAT had to save this man wallahi. Also, he has a tendency to kinda get trolled by smarter opponents (Aizen cough cough) although Yusuke.jpeg) Imma be fr with y'all, outside of combat, this man is a FRAUD, dumbahh, bro is failing school, algebra easy as hell bro how. Okay but seriously, Yusuke's got trouble with opponents who are pretty fucking powerful, or things out of his reach really, more than him. He only managed to beat Sensui through some strokes of luck. While he's had his moments of skill, he can be outplayed such as against Gouki. Sure, he was pretty cunning, but the first half involved Gouki tricking HIM and pummeling him because Yusuke underestimated him. He can also run out of Spirit Energy, leaving him vulnerable unless he uses Life Energy, which is kinda fatal ngl wiz. One Last Thing(s)IchigoBleach Cosmology and yada yada Cosmic feats yada yadaGremmy sent bro to the shadow realm So the first feat is Gremmy spending Kenpachi into a pocket dimension clearly filled with stars. It also might have a galaxy but it's hard to tell so we'll just say it has stars. Now, we have to address two things 1. Is this actual outer space? 2. Is this actually real? For 1, Gremmy has shown that this is outer space. He has imagined this scenario beforehand, the image in his head being a solar system with possibly stars in the background, and what he says roughly translates to "outer space", so yeah. But is this a actual real thing he makes? Well we don't know... at least until Gremmy summons a giant meteor. (Actually, the effects on Kenpachi like him losing air pressure is very much real though.) When he does make a meteor, he makes a whole point on how it is VERY much real and going to obliterate the Soul Society, and that attacking him won't stop it because it's already in this reality (0:40ish), showing Gremmy's summons are in fact real. Now, normally, scaling to Senna would make no sense, but VSBattles actually made a small blog on who scales. Ichigo actually is on par with Senna's sacrifice by the time he reaches True Shikai. He would actually upscale in Bankai + Horn of Salvation. Or that's what they say idk. Yeah, a few seconds later in the same video it even cuts to a shot of Soul Society shaking, but even the living world where Isshin is. The main reason, yet again, is because even hurting Yhwach, the god tiers in Bleach would get him up to this possible level of scaling. Hell, even Uryu, a guy Ichigo is massively stronger than, survived (although it was plot armor and he was severely weakened) Yhwach wanna be Yaldabaoth and uhh credits to reddit In the later chapters, Yhwach mentions how his goal is to merge the 3 realms of Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and the Living World into one primordial realm. Now Yhwach has absorbed the Soul King (the guy who kinda made all 3 realms) it's not out of the question. The Soul King's power is actually described to have the potential to end the universe as we know it. Now of course, Ichigo does not scale to a full extent. Yhwach was legit nigh-impossible to be put down by him (almighty smh) but his Gran Ray Getsuga Tensho does actually harm him (as I've stated multiple times before) so there is possible downscaling. Yhwach by this point was one of, if not the strongest person in Bleach, and would likely scale above any of the other cosmic feats we have just mentioned anyways. However, most examples have some issues:
Ichigo would at least scale to Senna's feat, regardless, so cosmic ends are easily arguable for him. YusukePlanet < Yusuke?.jpeg) Okay, let's talk the funny punch feat from Yusuke's fight with Yomi. Now, In Sasuke VS Hiei, they calced this at 285 Zettatons of TNT, 142 Zettatons of TNT for each person doing the punching. Now, I know you guys hate that verdict, but... it's not like that calculation was wrong. Well, maybe, actually. First off, they say the clouds are 100m-6000m high. But then they put the explosion at 4.5 million meters high, which makes little sense because I don't see where that's coming from, you can't see all the way to the top. It's literally 1/3 of the earth. However, this doesn't mean it's not planet level. Well, Small Planet is a better assumption. One a certain forum, I stumbled across a 4 Zettatons of TNT calc, which puts each Yomi and Yusuke at 2.1 Zettatons of TNT each. Well, it does put the beam at 3.7 Million meters high, but that doesn't change any of the calc values except for speed, which isn't applicable for Yusuke scaling to it. So, yes, this is Small Planet level, thank you (and the calc maker). At least Yusuke isn't sitting at Multi-Continent now, cheers! Verdict.jpg) Alright, it's time for this blog to come to a close. We'll have 5 categories: Strength, Speed, Powers, Skill, simple as that. Key: Ichigo, Yusuke. StrengthThis category isn't close. Yusuke's best as we've seen is around the 60 Zettatons of TNT range for scaling to the Power Sphere, in overall feats. Ichigo easily dwarfed that. Even without cosmic feats, being able to compete in Yhwach's ballpark is no joke, as him lifting the Wandenreich got to 259 Zettatons of TNT. Nearly 4.3x stronger. And while there have been some statements that compare Yusuke absorbing the power of a small star, Ichigo's cosmic ends were just too much. Even Senjumaru's feat, the weakest in potency of the 4, clocks in at 10.1 GigaFOE. at least 16 sextillion times stronger than the Power Sphere, and Gremmy's pocket dimension and Senna's self-destruct just got way higher to the point where Yusuke simply could not compare, a speck of dust compared to a entire supervolcano ash cloud. Strength is a handy win for Ichigo  SpeedNow, while this was admittedly closer, Ichigo still handily has this. Yusuke's B class self could evade lightning at Mach 506, but Ichigo's casual speeds came in at up to 0.5c through him blitzing Sternritters. Even if Yusuke's class S self got much faster, this also wasn't Ichigo's full power either, and his Merged Hollow Bankai forms shoot him up much more as well. And while there's that 0.567c explosion that Yusuke and Yomi created, we have no clue if it's actually a speed feat for them to scale to, and Ichigo would easily UNFATHOMABLY be beyond Shuhei's (debatable) 105c feat all the way back in the RUKIA RESCUE MISSION ARC. This is another case for Ichigo, pretty handily. Ichigo takes Speed.  PowersWhile this might seem like a pretty easy dub for Yusuke, it's actually the other way around. Both Ichigo and Yusuke have mastered Getsuga Tensho and Spirit Gun to the point they can utilize more variations of the skill, but Yusuke had more diverse uses on his Spirit Gun. However, thing's like Ichigo's Blut Vene could easily defend him from attacks (although he doesn't need it) and arguably had more Reiryoku than Yusuke's Spirit Energy, and using Life Energy could kill Yusuke. And Yusuke's only achieved a form at most similar to Sacred Energy, so he can't use that very well. Demon Energy also was a amp to Yusuke's normal Spirit Energy, but remember how Aizen could snuff out Reiryoku-based techniques using Reiatsu alone? Well, Spirit Energy and Reiryoku aren't actually too different, connected to your emotions and willpower as well as being a natural energy source. Considering how Ichigo's far more powerful than Yusuke, he can just shut off his Spirit Gun and other techniques, similar to how he just broke Rukia's Kido, leaving him helpless against Ichigo's other game ending stuff like Gran Ray Cero. Ichigo surprisingly takes Powers.  SkillSkill was actually the closest of these categories, but then again, was it? Yeah. Both have been fighting for what they believe in physically even before they got their powers. Ichigo has seen his fair share of tussles, but Yusuke practically threw hands daily with Kuwabara. After receiving more formal training, their fighting skills shot up by a huge notch, and that's where Ichigo shines more. Yusuke's easily a better hand-to-hand combatant, as we've seen more jujutsu shenanigans (say that again) from him and his time fighting demons, and while Ichigo has been taught martial arts by Urahara, he isn't one to use that much, even if good at it. Ichigo is just as good with his blade. Him stalemating Kenpachi as a adult despite being way less experienced says something, and Kenpachi's child self gave Unohana a ton of difficulty, despite her own immense skill. Despite masters taking even years to learn Bankai, Ichigo could grasp it in 2 short days. His adaptability is something not to be underestimated. I know you think he's not a BIQ guy, but deducing the mechanics of Gin's Zanpakuto does show he has his moments. Yusuke's own bout against Gouki shows he can be a trickster in combat, but when it came to general IQ outside of battle regardless, Ichigo still took it. Even in battle Yusuke's plan formulation would do him no good against someone as powerful or fast as Ichigo, who's got a few tricks up his own sleeve, and has displayed much more feats of skill than we've seen Yusuke, fighting on par with millennial-aged spirits compared to Yusuke fighting century-old martial artists.
